1. Parent Visit
Book a visit by going to our "Contact Us" page, calling, or emailing us. It is recommended that you visit without your child on your first visit to tour and meet with the director to enable distraction-free conversation.
2. Submit an Application
Download the enrollment form below, fill it out, and mail or email it to us. There is no cost to apply. Your application will be reviewed and you will be notified if your child has been selected to move forward with the enrollment process.
A $150 registration fee and one month's tuition (deposit) will be required to secure a place for your child in the classroom.
3. Student Visit
Children may visit by appointment after the initial parent tour or during an Open House.
4. Contracts Signed
After your application is approved, an enrollment contract will be made available. We do not require a three year commitment, but we do strongly recommend that you plan for your child to attend for all three years. We offer a discount on the Kindergarten year to encourage families to make that choice for their child.
CHOM on Camp aims to build a classroom community with a balance of children of ages, 3, 4 and 5, and, as much as possible, with a gender balance as well. No more than 24 children may attend CHOM on Camp on any given day. Children admitted in September must be 3 years old by December 31st of the year admitted, or parents may sign a waiver to start their children any time of year at the age of 32 months old.
The Director makes discretionary decisions regarding admission, taking into consideration many factors, including, but not limited to:
1. Age and gender of child
2. Sibling preference
3. Date of original application
4. Preference is given to families committed to a three-year cycle, which includes the kindergarten year.
A waiting list will be maintained when our enrollment is full. If/when openings become available, it is at the discretion of the Director to make decisions regarding admissions.
Admission decisions are made independently of family income or financial need.
CHOM on Camp does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity or orientation. Families of diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply, as we work hard to build an inclusive community of families from all socio-economic backgrounds.
Available only for first year children.
A rest time is available for first year children.
Limited to ten hours per day for the child.
